Theseus and Ariadne: transforming our rage in a creative way
Contributing to spread psychosynthesis in our culture through the education and transforming of emotions, is my main interest, Very often, anger gives way to violence problems into human
relations. The myth of Theseus and Ariadne may help as a metaphor of psychic transformation.
Through visualizations, body exercises, drawing, rhythms and personal and group sculptures, we´ll try to be aware of the energy of that emotion (anger) take steps to transform it in order to create
another type of relation ship with ourselves, the others and the world.

Born to be happy. Happiness as a choice and as destiny
Sages and masters of all times and places tell us that we are destined to be happy, to realize our essence of joy.
And the pursuit of happiness has always been part of human nature. One thing is certain: "Happiness" exists. But it is not donated.
The workshop is a starting point for training to happiness. Without wearing fake smiling masks but learning to choose it.

Compassion as focus for Psychosynthesis therapy
The importance of compassion, towards others and ourselves, is part of ancient wisdom. Yet we know from our work with clients, and probably in our own lives, how easily compassion can be replaced by self-criticism, worries and psychological numbing.
This workshop draws on Compassion Focussed Therapy developed by Paul Gilbert. His approach contains many elements familiar to psychosynthesis, as well as aspects that we can learn from.
The contents of the workshop will include the neuropsychology of compassion, practical exercises and case examples.

Sound, Meditation and Peak Experiences
A lot of scientific research has been made on the various states of consciousness, and how sound influences brainwaves’ frequency. I will briefly describe the main results and show a short video about cymatics, the science about sound and matter, to describe the interactions between sound and matter. Sound has been used in all cultures for meditative purposes, we can now explain how it works.
I will facilitate enhanced states of consciousness in the participants through voice, musical instruments and/or recordings.

Living "The Art of Peace"
We will use the aphorisms of the Master Ueshiba, founder of Aikido, as so many stimuli not only to study but also that can be experienced in body and soul, donating them to ourselves and to others. We offer an experiential workshop during which, using the techniques of aikido and psychosynthesis, we get to experience the feeling of peace, sharing of loving in a group setting. We will discover that we must above all make peace with those who we believed to be the enemy within us, represented by our faults that we can heal by applying specific methods of self healing. Apply, in fact, technical contact, dance, music therapy, guided imagery, breathing, meditation, harmonic movement.

A journey in our Star
Starting from the historical question: Who am I? We proceed in the knowledge of going through emotions, feelings, desires, imaginations, intuitions and volitional acts, the evocative diagram of the Star of the Functions. The workshop offers an active journey inside the star during which we make direct experience and call into question every function. Through the story, the views, the activation of senses and other experiences, the Star little by little comes to life and traces the way for the expression of ourselves.

Inner Leadership - new experiences from the mind
Expected and unexpected events taking place in our life challenge us and train our ability to adjust and find appropriate answers. The degree of connectedness to the knowing and healing parts of our psyche allows us to stay in a position of confidence and competence and act in accordance with the higher Self. This inner leadership enables us to get access to resources helping not only to overcome anxiety and stress and find answers to every days challenges, but also to become a creative and conscious leader of life.
In the workshop we will explore inner resources, dare to get in touch with 'weak' parts of the mind and find unexpected and reliable help in the higher regions of the mind. We will work with elements of classical Psychosynthesis, enriched with methodology deriving from 'psychology of vision' and systemic techniques.

Peace Starts Within
The world needs peace – always, or maybe more than ever. Conflicts always stem from fear and not knowing enough about the other – wheather it is a conflict between two individuals in a couple, between countries or cultures. When we connect, we open our hearts and in feeling empathy for oneanother we may choose a more peaceful way to handle any situation.
In this workshop we meditate together on peace and connection, and we inquire how we as individuals promote or block peace in our lives and in the world around us. Psychosynthesis as a model brings the possibility for an awareness of the greater whole and a willingness to chose from that awareness is an important factor in peace work, a theoretical part about this will also be included.
This workshop is a further developed and shortened version of the workshop held at the EFPP Inspirational Day in Florence in November 2015.

Call of the Self in the Call of the Cosmos
Imagine what it would be like if the personal growth work we did had cosmic significance. If we carry the awareness that there is this larger impact, does it change our experience? Could it be that the Spiritual World celebrates this kind of engagement of our souls out of our own free will? As we shed light on the shadow, or learn to be more accepting, caring, and compassionate with self and other beyond the "self-help"
alone, does this add meaning, purpose and value to the process?
Join with us as we explore what Roberto Assagioli and his contemporaries say about this. And explore with us through a series of experiential exercises the difference in effect when we journey with the "Call of Self" for our own benefit and when we journey in concert with and for the Spiritual World and the future as it comes toward us.

The transpersonal in the world
What do we do with the violent forces that are present in our word today? How do we react to the war and destruction we see around us?
One way is going into the opposite pole: meditating and sending peaceful energy out to the world. This is very valuable. But what about the violent energies?
In our individual work as psychosynthesis people, we always look for the valuable essence in subpersonalities, even if these figures are aggressive and repulsive. Could we do the same thing with these forces on a collective level?
In this workshop we are going to examine if there is a valuable core in today's war and violence. We are going to look at the forces of war and peace at an archetypal level, and see if we can connect to both of these forces.

The interior theater: Psychosynthesis staging
In the seminar we use theatrical techniques in a psychosynthetic perspective, touching some central themes in active and experiential ways.
- Contact with the unconscious: imagining a scene and putting it into action, we resonate with our deepest unconscious (both lower and higher); it is from there that we draw the psychic material, through improvisations and exercises that make it emerge with the same mechanism as free associations.
- Ego experience: is the central psychic entity, the director in fact, that helps us to direct and coordinate all the psychic functions through the assistant-director, the Will. The Ego and the Will work together so that our theatrical communication is effective, understandable, exciting and reproducible.
- Conscious creation of sub-personalities: creating a scene, a character using a certain tone, showing certain physical characteristics, which sends verbal chosen and precise messages, is how to create a sub-personality through a conscious and willed process, it is an exercise for "doing as if ", a key technique for changing behaviors considered dysfunctional or creating desired behaviors.

LLife is change; the body, emotions and thoughts change like the seasons. Learning to accept our changes means to be masters of our lives, opposing them means to become lost and to betray ourselves.
The purpose of the workshop is to know ourselves to enhance our qualities, discover our limits and have the courage to go further, learning to take the appropriate risks to plan our own lives; have the confidence and the courage to listen to what our heart says and not be afraid of other people's judgments and to use judgments as guiding aids and not as a "condemnation", finding our direction in the present and for the future. Therefore it is important to follow a route that we plot it on the map: we knowing our map we will trace our route.

Being happy is possible,when…
Living in these present times imposes great challenges to individual existence. Everyone makes choices that often does not recognize as his own. The resulting sense of strangeness to ourselves and to the world around us creates anxiety, grief, anger and distracts from the path of individuation and self-realization. The workshop aims to help recognize the Adaptive Self, source of pragmatic inspirations that activate the individual's Will. We will work on the dynamic structure of the personality and on the mobilization of Ego functions. Experiences will be offered to identify and recognize the signals from the Adaptive Self, reflected from the Transpersonal Self, and to structure the Model of the Possible, a reformulation of the Ideal Model. The process is based on a meeting of the Masculine and Feminine in a synthesis that reopens to elements of human and universal sympathy, up to the enlightening and liberating experience of Love.

Presentation and meditative contact with the symbol of the Banner of Peace as an evolving tool in consciousness.
Symbols act as a driving force in any human culture; one of the peculiarities of the symbol of the Banner of Peace is being "above the parties", because it belongs to all of humanity and it is existing from time immemorial and everywhere in the world.
For this reason, the symbol of the Banner of Peace has an universal value to be discovered and carries with it a meaning that is echoed in every conscience.
Experiencing contact with this symbol, pregnant with universal energy, produces work towards a raising of consciousness.

After choosing there unique set of 12, they are getting to know the gender and task of this `talent` and in the dialogue the role of the inner leader will become clear. Psychosynthesis as a core coaching psychology
How can psychosynthesis become more widely established as a core coaching psychology, in service to emerging needs in our organisations, communities and society? Building upon Sir John Whitmore’s context for psychosynthesis-trained coaches (Coaching for Performance, 4th edition 2009), we are seeking to develop psychosynthesis as a coaching psychology to meet the emerging and evolutionary needs of leadership coaching today. Increasingly leaders need support from coaches who are not just psychologically trained but able to draw upon an holistic depth and height psychology such as psychosynthesis. We ask; what are the barriers to helping psychosynthesis become more widespread as a coaching psychology and how can these be overcome? What are the trends globally – e.g. growth of coaching versus therapy as a more accessible modality, prevalence of psychosynthesis coaching? How can psychosynthesis be developed and adapted for leadership coaching?

La nascita del Sé di Gruppo: un’avventura condivisa nella crescita della coscienza
A group is not just a setting where the individual can grow through intentional and aware relationships, it is also in its own right, a bio-psycho-spiritual entity with a Super-conscious, Sub-conscious and Conscious. Participating in a group life is how we learn, grow and create the future together.
This shared journey marks a transition from the "I" to the "We" state of consciousness, thus allowing us to expand our sense of personal identity. In working with many groups around the world, the Science of Group Work has tested some basic assumptions regarding the elements of the collective spiritual journey and has mapped the various stages of development with their specific challenges and requirements.
This workshop explores the principles and practice of group life and focuses on essential group work required to cross the threshold into the Group Self.

“Integrity” in a time of complexity
Although 'integrity' is usually associated only with moral or ethical behaviour and conscience, this is a transpersonal quality affecting many other spheres of life too -such as aesthetics and design, intellectual and academic rigour, and social relations in the age of the internet. A foundation of such a quality is a psychological integrity of which psychosynthesis has much to offer, as it addresses both the formative unconscious and the superconscious. In an age where we are increasingly interdependent, an appreciation of integrity that links psychology with other more 'everyday' areas of life is essential. In this workshop, participants will be invited to examine integrity in different areas of life using a three-level model of personal and social development: the presentational, the conventional and the dialectical.

Engaging the Whole Person: Psychosynthesis and the Choice to Change
The field of coaching has oriented many helping professionals towards the importance of setting and manifesting goals. Psychosynthesis has always had the theory and methodology for that work, through the concepts of Purpose, Will, Self, and particularly, as it relates to this workshop, the psychological functions.
In this workshop, we will look at the power of working as guides through all of our own psychological functions, noting where our strengths are and what needs strengthening.
We will also explore how inviting non-dominant psychological functions into our clients' experience helps to open them to new and greater possibilities. In the end, we will be noting, what we already know, that it is in the wholeness of our own being that we grow and change.

The mode will be brainstorming basically: starting from the activation of the imagination about the "psychosynthetic dream" which each of us carries in his heart.
The center of the group will be a crucible in which to lay all our psycho-dreams: words, projects, drawings, actions...
Subsequently, using a synthesis technique we will start from small groups to the large one: this in order to distill the dreams and find common threads. The distillation that will emerge will not be the sum of all our dreams but definitely something more. The group will be the distiller and the crucible itself.

Interdependence and Star of the Functions
All our actions, thoughts and emotionsarise in relation to actions, thoughts and emotions of others. Taoism, Buddhism, systemic and holistic visions and numerous other schools of thought have emphasized this reality for thousands of years. Yet we perceive ourselves as individuals as such, independent, original and often self-referential. The type of culture in which we are immersed reinforces this perception. Never more than now has it become essential to develop an ecological mind that thinks in terms of systems, recognizing the fallout of our actions on others and on the external and internal environment (sub-personalities).
During this workshop we will use the Star of the Functions to create experiences that allow us to develop a greater awareness of the interdependence of all phenomena, and we will give space to reflections on ideas, behaviors and attitudes in line with this awareness.

Healing emotions by understanding the five phases on transformation. Psychosynthesis meets Traditional Chinese Medicine
We all know anger, frustration, joy, empathy and sorrow, sadness, grief and fear by heart. To centred means to be aware of our feelings, to accept them as e-motions, to let them come and go. The task is to go with the flow, to be the emperor of your self, not to block or to overreact or even to get exhausted - it is to develop the ability to dis-identify.
In the Traditional Chinese Medicine it is understood that restrained or overemphasis emotions can seriously damage our health. Our bodies manifest, store our feelings, for example worry can deplete the immune system and anger can strain the heart.
This workshop is an approach between the philosophy of Yin and Yang, the 5 Phases and Psychosynthesis.
Discover the microcosm in the macrocosm to transform anger, conquer fear, release sadness and break the worry habit - and create balance relating to the circles of live. Enhance your self-awareness. Develop stability and your inner sense of worth.

Living Gay leathersex, a relational source on alternative sexualities for therapeutic training and practice
Based on original research for an MA and 2 Chapters for a book on Gender & Sexual Diversity due to be published shortly, this workshop will attempt to open up a psychological space between BDSM, male homosexuality and psychotherapy. Splicing reflections on my own life experiences and therapeutic modelling during training with those of three interviewees, I apply Psychosynthesis and Person Centred psychotherapy methodology to identify and validate psychological states of mind that can be experienced in gay male homosexuality. I discuss the psychological equality that can exist in BDSM and look at the meaning of transpersonal as an intimate connectedness and self-actualising process between sexual partners and within sexual communities. Further, I consider comparisons between psychological shifts/position in Gay Leathersex and conventional therapeutic sessions to advance Psychosynthesis and Assagioli's take on sexuality further. I offer up non-pathological guide to Gay Leathersex, alternative lifestyle communities and an alternative opportunity for a transformed sexuality, spirituality and self-actualisation process that could be used in therapy and therapeutic training.

To Choose Love. Working with Psychosynthesis and Couples
Working with Psychosynthesis and Couples, a Small Scale Conflict Resolution and a First Step of the Love Revolution.
Modern life is full of challenges and many couples find it hard to make their relationship work and/or even face the disappointment of separation. For us as therapists or counsellors, psychosynthesis many times offers a different or complementary way of seeing the problem, compared to other disciplines.
Instead of wanting the partner to change in a certain direction, the problem itself shows how a couple can grow together, if they choose to stay together or even if they separate.
A number of ps tools and perspectives are useful in couple’s work – bifocal vision of a situation, disidentification, subpersonalities, the lower and higher unconscious, purpose, awareness and choice. Supporting the couple to choose love, both for the other and for themselves, is active conflict resolution and gives a new understanding of the meaning of relationship. As a result, there is also the possibility of making other choices differently.

How can Psychosynthesis have a future in the school?
Sharing and exchange of an experience.
In the delicate phase of transition from childhood to adolescence young people have so much energy that they do not know how to channel it. The Education Group of the Psychosynthesis Center of Palermo and Trapani has developed an experimental training path of three years to accompany the boys of this age group to get in touch with their inner world to learn how to decipher it. Through the realized modular path it has been shown that psychosyntetic practice, in school, can manage educational interventions and intervene in a non-invasive way with attention to individual differences. It enhances the potential and allows to exploration of fragility with confidence; it fosters the development of the capacity for internal and external observation; it encourages the discovery of the multiplicity in ourselves and the others; it raises self-esteem levels, training students towards a positive and proactive approach towards the life.
